I'm gonna have to disagree with you here. The iPad is NOT just a jumbo iPod Touch. First of all, it's powered by a 1 GHz A4 chip, which delivers much better performance than the processor inside an iPod Touch. With a powerful chip comes a powerful battery that can deliver at the least 10 hours of entertainment. On an iPod Touch, if you decide to play games nonstop, it will only last around 2 hours. Yes, it is difficult to carry around, but inexpensive, fashionable cases are available just for this device. Another thing the iPad has? Access to 3G networks and iBooks. With 3G, you can surf the web, go on iTunes, or check your email virtually anywhere, and downloadable books give you thousands of options instantly. The iPad is not just a multi-thousand dollar toy (the cheapest model retails for $499), it's a impressive gadget.
